Colostrum comes from cow's milk and is collected once a cow delivers her calf. Its main function is to transfer immunity from mother to offspring. Essentially, Colostrum is made up of fatty acids, proteins and carbohydrates that produce energy and growth. It also contains many biologically active substances which stimulate muscle growth and metabolism. Importantly, Colostrum has high protein, vitamin, and mineral levels and is low in lactose (milk sugar).
Both the Colostrum and the MGO™ Manuka honey have been freeze dried to retain the highest quality properties.

Directions for use:
We recommend to take 2 to 3 capsules twice per day, but the amount will vary from person to person. If you are recovering from an injury you may prefer to start with a higher dose. Also, if you feel a cold or flu coming on, you may prefer to increase your dose to help recover more quickly and relieve your symptoms.
So far MGO™ Manuka Honey has been the only food in the world with such a significant Dietary Methylglyoxal content ranging from 20mg/kg to over 800mg/kg. In contrast all other honeys worldwide tested have ranged between 0-10mg/kg.
Manuka Health measures methylglyoxal content based on standards developed by University of Dresden. For example, this container of MGO™400 contains at least 400mg/kg of dietary Methylglyoxal. The higher the MGO™ Manuka honey rating the higher the level of anti-bacterial activity in the honey.
